Key Responsibilities
- Develop, configure, and implement Microsoft Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) and Remote Desktop Session Host (RDSH) solutions to improve user experience and operational efficiency.
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot existing VDI environments to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements and design new features or enhancements related to touch services and video/telepresence systems integrated with virtual desktops.
- Create, update, and maintain detailed technical documentation on VDI configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and operational workflows.
- Provide desk-side support and network voice troubleshooting to ensure seamless virtual workplace experiences.
Essential Skills and Expertise
- Strong understanding of Microsoft VDI solutions and Remote Desktop Session Host (RDSH) technology.
- Proficiency in Windows Operating Systems with hands-on experience in touch services and integration.
- Basic knowledge of video telepresence systems and their interaction with virtualized environments.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively within teams and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in workplace virtualization or IT support roles.
- Microsoft certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Fundamentals are a plus (optional but valuable).
