Key Responsibilities
- Conduct IT audits focused on vendor risk, internal controls, and compliance with regulatory frameworks
- Perform third-party risk assessments for vendors, suppliers, and service providers
- Evaluate vendor cybersecurity, data privacy practices, and compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and other standards
- Review and monitor service level agreements (SLAs) and contractual obligations
- Use risk assessment methodologies and tools to identify and mitigate operational and compliance risks
- Prepare and present audit findings, reports, and recommendations to clients and management
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with third-party vendors and internal teams
- Lead and mentor junior auditors and analysts, supporting team development and performance
- Stay updated on the latest IT audit trends, compliance regulations, and best practices
Skills & Competencies
- Expertise in IT audit processes and risk management methodologies
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, OFIN, JDE, and their native application controls
- Familiarity with regulatory and international standards including SSAE, ISAE, SOX, PCI DSS, ISO 27001
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, data privacy laws (GDPR), and compliance best practices
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Proven team leadership and people management capabilities
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and audit management tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields
- Chartered Accountant (CA) and/or MBA with a specialization in Finance or IT preferred
- 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in IT audit, vendor risk assessments, or SOC audits
- Experience with regulatory audits and compliance assessments preferred
- Certifications in CISA, CISSP, or equivalent are a plus
