Key Responsibilities
- Develop, deploy, and maintain robust, scalable data pipelines utilizing Python and SQL.
- Perform efficient ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) operations from multiple heterogeneous data sources.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis and build statistical models to support business intelligence and data-driven decisions.
- Design and build interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI or Tableau to visualize complex datasets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders and data scientists, to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights.
- Optimize SQL queries and ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across systems.
- Assist in big data processing and analytics using PySpark where applicable.
- Document data workflows, technical specifications, and development processes for transparency and knowledge sharing.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Primary Skills
- Python: Proficient in data manipulation and scripting using libraries such as pandas, numpy, and matplotlib.
- SQL: Advanced skills in writing, tuning, and optimizing complex queries, joins, and stored procedures.
Secondary Skills (Preferred)
- Power BI or Tableau: Experience creating rich, interactive visual dashboards.
- PySpark: Exposure to distributed data processing and Spark workflows (advantageous).
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Knowledge of cloud data platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus.
- Comfortable working in Agile development environments.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or related technical fields.
