๐ Key Responsibilities
As a Critical Care Technologist at Apollo Hospitals, your duties will include:
- Monitoring and assisting in the care of patients in intensive care units (ICU)
- Operating and maintaining life-support equipment including:
- Mechanical ventilators
- Patient monitors
- Infusion and syringe pumps
- Arterial Blood Gas (ABG) machines
- Collaborating closely with doctors, nurses, and respiratory therapists
- Assisting in emergency procedures and resuscitations
- Maintaining accurate patient records and reporting abnormalities promptly
- Ensuring adherence to safety and infection control protocols
๐ฏ Required Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in critical care instrumentation
- Quick decision-making and calm demeanor in high-pressure situations
- Teamwork and communication skills in a clinical setting
- Understanding of ICU protocols and patient management
- Familiarity with emergency response and resuscitation support
๐ Qualifications & Experience
- Educational Qualification:
- Graduate degree in Allied Health Sciences or B.Sc. in Critical Care Technology
- Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is a plus
- Experience:
- 1โ5 years in ICU, Critical Care, or Trauma Unit preferred
- Fresh graduates with internship experience in ICU settings may also apply
