Job Purpose
As a Senior Technician – Operation Theatre (OT) at Apollo Hospitals, Lucknow, you will play a critical role in ensuring safe and efficient surgical procedures. You will provide technical and procedural support to the anesthesia and surgical teams, while maintaining OT safety standards and ensuring patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, prioritize, plan, and implement care according to anesthesia and OT guidelines.
- Deliver high standards of patient care during anesthesia and surgery.
- Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthetists, nurses, and other OT staff.
- Maintain accurate, legible, and timely documentation.
- Ensure safe handling, storage, and checking of drugs, gases, and consumables.
- Monitor and maintain optimum stock levels and re-order supplies as required.
- Maintain OT equipment and report technical issues promptly.
- Adhere to hospital and departmental policies at all times.
- Participate in departmental and hospital teaching/training programs.
- Stay updated with current developments in anesthesia and OT practices.
- Uphold hospital ethics, professionalism, and patient dignity at all times.

- Strong technical knowledge of OT procedures and anesthesia practices.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications
- Graduate with Diploma/B.Sc. in Operation Theatre (OT).
- Consistent academic record – 1st Division in 10th, 12th, and Diploma/B.Sc. (OT).
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in OT/anesthesia technical support.
