Key Responsibilities
Data Management & Visualization
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI to support tax and finance operations.
- Integrate data from Azure, SharePoint, SQL Server, and APIs for ETL and transformation tasks.
- Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) to ensure secure, personalized access to data.
- Explore predictive analytics and anomaly detection using basic machine learning techniques.
Project Management & Coordination
- Assist team leads in planning, executing, and monitoring data-driven tax reporting projects.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate project delivery.
Quality Assurance & Data Governance
- Develop and enforce data quality control procedures, including regular audits.
- Conduct root cause analysis for data discrepancies and collaborate with data engineers to improve infrastructure.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
- Act as a liaison between the Tax Reporting & Analytics team and other departments.
Continuous Improvement
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging analytics tools.
- Propose process improvements to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
- Share knowledge and foster a culture of continuous learning and growth.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI and SQL.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and BI solutioning.
- Familiarity with PySpark, cloud platforms, and basic machine learning tools is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience: 4-6 years in data analytics, BI reporting, or related roles.
- Certifications: Power BI, Azure, or Data Analytics certifications are a plus.
