About Deloitte’s Digital Excellence Centre (DEC)

The Digital Excellence Centre (DEC) builds advanced digital platforms and solutions for Deloitte India. The team includes software engineers, QA specialists, UX designers, data scientists, and product managers who collaborate to deliver exceptional customer experiences through design thinking and innovative technology.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior QA Executive (Manual/Automation Testing), you will:

• Analyze business and functional requirements for test planning and execution.
• Design, develop, and execute detailed manual test cases.
• Identify automation opportunities and build automated test scripts.
• Perform exploratory testing and provide deep analysis of test results.
• Log, track, and manage software defects throughout the bug lifecycle.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and validate fixes.
• Participate in Agile sprint ceremonies and contribute to quality improvements.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive test documentation and reports.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect Management.
• Hands-on experience with manual and automation testing tools (Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, etc.).
• Proficiency in SQL, XML, and basic programming concepts.
• Knowledge of web services and API testing.
• Excellent analytical thinking, attention to detail, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in Agile and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Prior experience in test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on quality, scalability, and continuous improvement.
