The Opportunity
We are hiring a Senior Manager – Forensics, Investigations & Compliance for our Gurgaon office. This is a senior leadership role where you will work with multinational and domestic clients, lead forensic investigations, manage compliance programs, and provide trusted advisory services.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management: Build and manage strong relationships with senior client stakeholders and act as a Trusted Business Advisor.
- Forensic Investigations: Lead and manage complex investigations, compliance reviews, and advisory engagements, including collaboration with international law firms.
- Business Development: Drive proposal preparation, develop pricing strategies, and generate new opportunities with existing and new clients.
- Project Leadership: Plan, coordinate, and manage multiple forensic assignments, balancing risk, urgency, and client needs.
- Technical Expertise: Provide insights on auditing, compliance, fraud risk management, and investigations across industries such as telecom, manufacturing, retail, and pharmaceuticals.
- Risk & Quality Management: Offer guidance to teams on risk issues and ensure compliance with global standards.
- Knowledge Sharing: Contribute to EY’s knowledge base, develop best practices, and continuously improve forensic processes.
- Team Leadership: Mentor, counsel, and develop team members, creating a culture of high performance and collaboration.

- Strong commercial acumen with a deep understanding of global market practices.
- Proven ability to lead forensic investigations and compliance reviews.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and client management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strategic mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum 10+ years of post-qualification experience in auditing, investigations, or compliance.
- Experience working with both multinational and domestic clients.
- Prior statutory audit experience with top-tier firms.
- Exposure to working with law firms, especially international ones, on investigation matters.
- Internship or early career training with a top-end audit/consulting firm preferred.
