Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and support solutions within the Guidewire PolicyCenter module.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and defect fixes for production issues.
- Implement enhancements and code changes to support business objectives.
- Manage Guidewire configuration, integration, and product suite implementation.
- Provide on-call support and rotational shift coverage for India and US time zones.
- Monitor systems proactively and maintain production support standards.
- Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and developers to ensure seamless system functionality.
Skills and Attributes
- Deep expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter framework, architecture, and components.
- Strong experience with Guidewire 9+ technical/functional/cloud certifications.
- Proficient in Java/J2EE, XML, SOAP/REST Web Services, SQL, Spring, Hibernate, ANT.
- Experience with tools like ServiceNow, JIRA, Eclipse IDE, SVN, Jenkins.
- Knowledge of production support processes, incident/problem management, and SDLC life cycle.
- Hands-on experience with Tomcat, WebSphere, or WebLogic servers.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts and on-call support schedules.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 6–8 years of experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter development, maintenance, or support.
- Proven experience in insurance domain technology and cloud operations.
