Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end actuarial projects, ensuring quality and process efficiency.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages for clients.
  • Collect, validate, and input data for IBNR claims models, Actuarial Value Plan Models, and Pricing Models.
  • Analyze ad-hoc datasets and present findings to internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct ad-hoc actuarial projects, including plan changes and self-funded vs. fully insured analyses.
  • Develop financial exhibits to support client correspondence and reports.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of group systems, products, and actuarial technologies.
  • Independently review technical results, ensure audit trails, and mentor junior colleagues.
  • Participate actively in weekly manager meetings, sharing project updates and insights.
  • Provide guidance to clients and colleagues on technical calculations and actuarial processes.

Skills & Competencies

  • Advanced proficiency in English (written and verbal).
  • Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on high-quality, client-ready deliverables.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Skilled in data analysis and actuarial modeling.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with mentoring capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines effectively.

Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate/Postgraduate in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years in actuarial work, insurance, or consulting.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced Excel, Actuarial Modeling Suite, knowledge of health insurance actuarial principles.
