Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Consultant in Deloitte’s Cloud Infrastructure team, you will:
1. Infrastructure Design & Development
- Design and develop cloud infrastructure solutions based on client needs, focusing on compute, storage, networking, security, and backup.
- Work with clients to define requirements, ensuring scalability and fault tolerance.
- Align infrastructure with cloud readiness standards and integration with systems like AD/ADFS, MFA, and WAF.
2. Setup & Integration
- Coordinate with IT teams to provision infrastructure components including VMs, storage, network, and security based on approved designs.
- Install and configure software for cloud platforms, ensuring integration with security policies and business systems.
3. Process Automation & Optimization
- Leverage automation and cloud technologies to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Document all infrastructure changes, test procedures, and UAT scenarios.
4. Client Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients to understand their goals and provide impactful cloud solutions.
- Drive engagement with clients to ensure high-quality delivery and project success.
Skills Required
The ideal Senior Consultant will have the following skills:
- 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, including platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong expertise in cloud design principles, including scalability, security, fault tolerance, and cloud readiness.
- Proficiency in managing cloud automation tools and platforms to improve efficiency.
- Familiarity with monitoring, backup, security solutions, and event log collection for cloud-based environments.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for client interaction and technical documentation.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and manage cross-functional collaboration.
Educational & Certification Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related fields.
- Preferred Certification:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Professional Cloud Architect.
