Key Responsibilities
SOC & Automation
- Design, develop, and maintain XSOAR playbooks to automate repetitive SOC tasks.
- Integrate security tools and data sources using APIs, custom scripts, and out-of-the-box connectors.
- Collaborate with SOC analysts, incident responders, and cybersecurity teams to identify automation opportunities.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing playbooks for efficiency and accuracy.
Scripting & Custom Integration
- Develop custom automation scripts using Python for complex security processes.
- Create and maintain integrations between XSOAR and SIEM, EDR, firewalls, and threat intelligence platforms.
- Ensure all automation workflows comply with security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Documentation & Training
- Document processes, playbooks, and integration procedures for knowledge sharing and team enablement.
- Provide guidance and mentorship on XSOAR best practices and SOC automation.
- Stay updated on emerging trends, threats, and cybersecurity technologies.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Cortex XSOAR (mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of SOC operations, incident response, and cybersecurity processes.
- Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and custom integrations.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, SIEM, EDR, and firewall technologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Tier 1/2 institutes preferred).
- 3–6 years of experience in cybersecurity operations, SOC, or security automation.
- Base location: Mumbai (onsite at client office).
