This role is ideal for professionals with 6–8 years of pharmaceutical forecasting and business analysis experience, strong therapeutic area expertise, and proficiency in data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

As a Pharma Forecasting Senior Specialist at EY, you will:

• Develop accurate brand volume forecasts for both short-term and long-term planning.
• Conduct strategic franchise-level forecasting to guide business growth.
• Solve complex analytical challenges using quantitative and statistical approaches.
• Perform sensitivity analyses to identify risks, opportunities, and forecast accuracy improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Finance, Market Access, RCL, HHI, MMD).
• Create concept notes, presentations, reports, and dashboards to communicate findings.
• Apply Python coding skills to automate forecasting and streamline processes.
• Analyze historical data and market trends to drive data-backed forecasting decisions.
• Continuously optimize forecasting models and methodologies to align with market changes.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong business analysis background (requirement elicitation, data management, change management).
• Knowledge of Long Range Forecasting (LRF) processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Deep understanding of therapeutic areas (Oncology, Vaccines, etc.).
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Tableau, Alteryx, and forecasting tools.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
• 6–8 years’ experience in pharma forecasting and analytics.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools (SQL, Tableau, Alteryx).

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in a quantitative or pharmaceutical field.
• Experience in pharma therapeutic area forecasting (Oncology, Vaccines, etc.).
• Familiarity with Machine Learning/AI applications in forecasting.
• Strong track record of delivering accurate and reliable forecasts.
