Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) with complete data integrity.
- Achieve monthly and yearly production targets of the department.
- Identify and manage alarms in compliance with SOPs.
- Perform in-process checks and monitor intermediate processes.
- Verify and maintain set process parameters in PLC/SCADA as per Batch Production Records (BPR).
- Operate packaging machinery as per equipment SOPs.
- Troubleshoot machine issues and coordinate with HOD, QA, and Engineering teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Minimize machine breakdowns and support maintenance activities.
- Maintain and oversee primary/secondary packing machines such as Unscrambler, Bulk Packing, Induction Sealing, Sticker Labeling machines.
- Ensure packing process compliance with approved BPR and SOP.
- Adhere to all safety compliance policies and promptly report incidents, accidents, or near-misses.
- Complete mandatory training and maintain training records within stipulated timelines.
- Update logbooks and documentation of the packing area regularly.
- Support team with additional responsibilities as assigned.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical production and packaging operations.
- Ability to handle PLC/SCADA systems and troubleshoot machine issues.
- Familiarity with cGMP, GDP, and data integrity standards.
- Good communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams.
- Proactive in safety compliance and incident reporting.
Qualifications
- Education: B.Sc., B.Pharma, or equivalent degree in science/pharma/engineering.
- Experience: 0–3 years of experience in pharma production, operations, or packaging preferred.
