Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed fetal assessments using ultrasound, Doppler studies, and advanced diagnostic tools.
- Diagnose fetal anomalies, genetic conditions, and pregnancy complications.
- Provide specialized counseling to expectant parents on prognosis and treatment options.
- Perform invasive diagnostic procedures (amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling, fetal blood sampling).
- Collaborate with obstetricians, neonatologists, pediatric surgeons, and genetic counselors for multidisciplinary care.
- Participate in prenatal screening programs and develop clinical protocols.
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation of all cases and procedures.
- Contribute to the education and mentoring of medical trainees.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in fetal therapy and intrauterine interventions.
Skills & Qualifications
- MBBS + MD/MS in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
- DM / Fellowship in Fetal Medicine or Maternal-Fetal Medicine (recognized institution).
- 2–5 years of post-fellowship experience preferred.
- Certification in advanced obstetric ultrasonography.
- Valid license to practice medicine in India.
- Strong decision-making skills, clinical judgment, and patient communication.
- Team-oriented with ability to work in multidisciplinary hospital settings.
