Key Responsibilities
1. Production & Process Adherence
- Ensure production follows laid down procedures and batch instructions.
- Monitor raw material additions according to batch requirements.
- Execute transactions and process records in SAP.
- Conduct in-process checks and maintain quality compliance.
- Fill up shift-end reports and update environmental and quality records.
2. Shop Floor & Equipment Management
- Plan shift activities for manpower, machines, and batches.
- Perform daily sectional rounds and monitor consumables availability.
- Maintain 5S standards on the floor and in cabins.
- Capture equipment breakdowns in MAINTWIZ and perform breakdown analysis.
- Ensure shop floor, machine, and process hygiene.
3. Reporting & Coordination
- Report production progress, deviations, and issues to superiors.
- Coordinate with stores and other departments for consumable requisitions and stock monitoring.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
- 1–3 years of relevant production experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of SAP, MAINTWIZ, production processes, and quality standards.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and coordination skills.
- Ability to maintain discipline, hygiene, and safety standards on the shop floor.
Additional Requirements
- Hands-on experience in batch planning, machine monitoring, and process adherence.
- Familiarity with 5S practices, breakdown analysis, and documentation control.
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing plant environment.
