Asian Paints is hiring an Executive N – Production for its Khandala plant to manage production planning, quality control, operational efficiency, and improvement initiatives. This role focuses on batch planning, preventive maintenance, quality compliance, and process optimization to achieve production targets.

Key Responsibilities
1. Production & Planning
- Plan paint/emulsion batches and manage inventory efficiently.
- Track daily production cycles of Reactor, LDV/TSD, and Mixers.
- Prepare shift schedules and manage team member leaves in advance.
- Conduct weekly TBT (Toolbox Talk) meetings to review current month targets.
- Ensure preventive maintenance planning and raise maintenance orders timely.
2. Quality Assurance
- Prepare and share Quality Records (QR MFG 001, 002, 25) with SCRS and concerned personnel.
- Review previous month’s in-process deviations (QR PRD 20) and Quality Rating Index (QRI).
- Monitor process hygiene, low QRI batches, and maintain documentation control.
- Suggest improvements through Standardized Factory Instructions (SFI).
3. Operational Efficiency
- Oversee scrap movement and perform generation analysis.
- Track and address recurring issues daily and review HIRA monthly.
- Conduct Shift Based Team (SBT) meetings and prepare weekly operational PPT reports.
- Implement TRACC practices, review 5S standards, and manage Red Tag areas.
4. Improvement & Kaizen Initiatives
- Identify and implement new Kaizen ideas and process improvements.
- Address and propose changes for process logic adjustments.
- Improve accuracy and FLL (First Line Loss) by finding root causes and minimizing errors.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate degree in any discipline; Engineering background preferred.
- Knowledge of production planning, preventive maintenance, quality control, and operational metrics.
- Familiarity with 5S, HIRA, TRACC, Kaizen practices, and batch documentation.
- Strong analytical, planning, and team management skills.
