Role Overview

The Executive – International Patient Services at Apollo Hospitals, Chennai will act as the key liaison for international patients, ensuring smooth coordination across departments and enhancing patient satisfaction throughout their medical journey.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage communication and coordination with international patients, ensuring timely updates and personalized support.
  • Facilitate patient admission, treatment, and discharge processes in collaboration with hospital departments.
  • Assist with documentation, visa letters, cost estimates, and travel arrangements.
  • Coordinate with embassies, insurance providers, and travel partners.
  • Ensure translation, interpretation, and cultural support where required.
  • Maintain accurate records and generate regular reports for patient services.
  • Handle patient feedback, queries, and complaints with empathy and professionalism.

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal & written).
  • Customer service orientation and a patient-centric approach.
  • Knowledge of healthcare or hospitality operations.
  • Organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and hospital management systems.
  • Fluency in English (additional foreign languages preferred).

Qualifications

  • Graduate degree in Hospital Management, Business Administration, Hospitality, or related field.
  • Prior experience in hospital administration, medical tourism, or international patient coordination is preferred.
