About the Role

As an Executive – Conflict Checks, you will be a part of the Enabling Areas under Deloitte’s Reputation & Risk Office. You will support engagement teams by conducting conflict checks and risk evaluations during client acceptance procedures.

This position involves close collaboration with Deloitte’s internal stakeholders across service lines, ensuring all engagements align with firm-wide policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.


Key Responsibilities

1. Conflict and Risk Management

  • Conduct conflict checks for new and ongoing engagements in compliance with Deloitte’s global policies.
  • Identify, document, and communicate potential conflicts to ensure adherence to risk management frameworks.
  • Evaluate conflict results and provide recommendations to internal teams.

2. Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with internal engagement teams and risk professionals to resolve potential conflicts efficiently.
  • Maintain strong working relationships across departments to ensure smooth workflow.

3. Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure all conflict reviews and resolutions are accurately documented.
  • Maintain compliance with internal SLA timelines and reporting standards.
  • Assist with other compliance-related assignments as required.

4. Continuous Improvement

  • Identify process improvement opportunities in conflict-checking and risk evaluation processes.
  • Stay updated with changes in Deloitte’s global conflict management policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in risk management, compliance, or conflict evaluation.
  • Technical & Analytical Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across locations and time zones.
  • Work Ethic: High integrity, professionalism, and commitment to maintaining quality.
