Key Responsibilities

As an Eligibility Representative at Cigna, you will:

  • Process inbound client requests to enroll new members, update existing records, and handle terminations.
  • Maintain and update electronic eligibility and online enrollment (OLE) accounts accurately.
  • Execute transactions on fallout reports following detailed work instructions.
  • Conduct research to resolve inconsistencies in eligibility data and ensure data accuracy.
  • Assist in client setup for electronic eligibility tools and support testing in test/UAT environments.
  • Process Middle East enrollments and other specialized regional requests as assigned.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders via email, telephone, and virtual meetings.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and comply with Cigna’s quality standards and protocols.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in US or international healthcare, enrollment, or claims processing.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in fast-paced business environments with high attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas) and Outlook.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new systems, processes, and tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed productivity and quality metrics consistently.
