Role Overview

The Deputy Manager – Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) will be part of Deloitte’s Program Management Office (PMO) within the National Office, responsible for driving key financial initiatives, strategic planning, and business performance analysis.
You will collaborate with senior leadership to execute Deloitte’s strategic priorities, develop budgets, analyze performance metrics, and provide management reports that support executive decision-making.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting initiatives for Deloitte South Asia.
  • Use Anaplan to build and maintain financial models for performance tracking and strategic planning.
  • Conduct data mining, analysis, and visualization to generate management insights and actionable reports.
  • Develop and manage Power BI dashboards and Tableau visualizations for senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with PMO teams and Enabling Area functions to support annual business planning cycles.
  • Provide program management support for One Deloitte initiatives and performance sprints.
  • Prepare detailed presentations and financial summaries for leadership reviews.
  • Define and track KPIs to measure success of ongoing strategic programs.
  • Support ad-hoc projects, including cost optimization and revenue enhancement strategies.

Skills & Competencies

  • Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A): Strong analytical and modeling capabilities.
  • Anaplan Expertise: Advanced proficiency in financial planning and scenario modeling using Anaplan.
  • Data Visualization: Working knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, and Excel-based dashboards.
  • Project Management: Experience managing multiple strategic projects simultaneously.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation abilities.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive cross-functional alignment.
  • Problem Solving: Strategic mindset with a structured, data-driven approach to decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Education: MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree from a top-tier B-school.
  • Experience: 4–5 years of post-graduate experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Program Management, or Corporate Strategy.
  • Industry Exposure: Prior experience in Professional Services, IT/ITES, BFSI, or Management Consulting preferred.
