Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Supervision
- Lead and manage a team of 6-7 members, including graduates and experienced professionals.
- Monitor, motivate, and manage the team to ensure deliverables meet quality standards and SLA timelines.
- Assist seniors and AMs with performance reviews, mentoring, and coaching.
- Provide timely feedback to team members to enhance skills and efficiency.
Audit Execution & Client Interaction
- Actively participate in audit engagements, performing audit procedures and tests for allocated clients.
- Audit complex sections of financial statements as per Cayman Islands statutory requirements.
- Identify issues or missing information, manage and track resolutions.
- Maintain data confidentiality and compliance with KPMG’s risk management policies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with onshore teams across multiple locations.
Knowledge Sharing & Continuous Improvement
- Share expertise and knowledge within the team to strengthen technical capabilities.
- Support professional growth by mentoring junior team members.
- Ensure consistent adherence to audit quality standards and KPMG methodologies.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of financial audits and accounting standards.
- Ability to lead, supervise, and mentor small teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially with onshore stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in audit tools and MS Office applications.
Qualifications
- Degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.
- Professional Chartered Accountancy qualification (CA/ACCA).
- 0-1 years of relevant post-qualification experience, preferably in a Big 4 audit environment.
- Exposure to international financial services audits is a plus.
