Key Responsibilities

🏕️ Camp Management & Operations

  • Supervise all day-to-day activities in the labor accommodation camp.
  • Manage check-in/check-out processes and room assignments for workers and staff.
  • Coordinate with camp support teams (housekeeping, cooking, maintenance, and security).
  • Maintain cleanliness, order, and functionality in all camp facilities – including dormitories, kitchens, bathrooms, recreation rooms, and more.
  • Oversee essential services: water supply, power systems, sewage disposal, and waste management.

🛡️ Health, Safety, and Security

  • Implement company’s HSE policies across camp operations.
  • Conduct routine safety and hygiene inspections.
  • Manage emergency preparedness, first aid readiness, and incident response.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor and accommodation regulations.
  • Supervise security, access control, and incident handling in the camp area.

🙋 Resident Welfare & Community Relations

  • Resolve grievances and address concerns raised by residents.
  • Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for a diverse workforce.
  • Promote cultural sensitivity and maintain harmony among multi-national workers.
  • Mediate and de-escalate interpersonal conflicts when necessary.

🧾 Administrative & Financial Oversight

  • Maintain up-to-date records of occupancy, maintenance, supplies, and incidents.
  • Monitor camp expenditures and manage budget within defined limits.
  • Coordinate procurement of food, cleaning supplies, and other camp necessities.
  • Assist in mobilization/demobilization of employees including onboarding logistics.

🛠️ Inventory and Maintenance

  • Track and manage inventory of tools, equipment, and consumables.
  • Oversee preventive maintenance for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other utilities.
  • Liaise with external contractors for specialized maintenance tasks.

Skills & Competencies

✅ Must-Have Skills

  • Proven experience in camp supervision, facilities management, or remote site operations.
  • Deep knowledge of HSE standards, accommodation norms, and compliance procedures.
  • Strong team management, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Fluency in English; additional regional languages a bonus.
  • Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, Excel, etc.).
  • Knowledge of maintenance systems (electrical, plumbing, etc.).

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education:
    • Trade Certificate (ITI) – Mandatory
    • Diploma in Hospitality, Facility Management, or related fields – Preferred
  • Experience:
    • 10–15 years of experience in Camp Management, preferably in industrial or remote environments.
