Key Responsibilities
As an Assistant Manager – Cybersecurity (VAPT & Product Security), you will:
- Conduct web application security testing, infrastructure VAPT, and API security testing.
- Perform mobile security penetration testing (iOS and Android).
- Review and assess configurations of Windows, Linux, UNIX, Solaris, and Databases.
- Utilize vulnerability management tools such as Nessus, Nmap, Kali Linux, Nexpose, Acunetix, AppScan, Qualys Guard, Metasploit, and Fortify.
- Work with network security technologies including Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, SSL, and routers/switches.
- Apply scripting skills (Python, Shell, PERL) to automate security assessments.
- Support endpoint security, firewall reviews, and network device configuration audits.
- Follow security frameworks such as OWASP, NIST, CIS, and ISO standards.
- Collaborate with senior project members and clients to deliver actionable security insights.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education
- Full-time B.Tech / BE / Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
Experience
- 4–6 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, product security, and penetration testing.
Technical Expertise
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, network architecture, firewalls, and IDS/IPS systems.
- Proficiency in vulnerability management tools and penetration testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with endpoint security, threat profiling, and risk assessment frameworks.
- Strong understanding of VPN, SSL, SSH, SMTP, FTP, and enterprise security protocols.
- Knowledge of industry standards: OWASP, CIS, ISO/IEC 17799, and NIST frameworks.
