About the Role
As an Assistant Manager in EY FS Assurance, you will:
- Perform audit analytics across financial services, including journal entry testing, NPA analytics, lending analysis, and sector-specific assessments.
- Develop automated analytics models to enable statutory audits.
- Extract and analyze data from client ERPs and databases using SQL, ETL, and visualization tools.
- Apply machine learning techniques in R or Python for predictive analytics and risk assessment.
- Deliver actionable insights to audit committees and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct risk-based audit analytics using advanced tools and methodologies.
- Design, review, and implement algorithms, systems, and processes to analyze client data.
- Utilize visualization tools such as Tableau, Spotfire, QlikView, or similar.
- Apply AI, NLP, web scraping, TensorFlow, and other modern technologies in auditing.
- Support client audit processes by providing deep sector knowledge and analytics expertise.
- Ensure compliance with audit standards and support critical financial decisions.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Chartered Accountant (CA).
- 5-7 years of relevant audit and financial services experience.
- Strong statistical and machine learning knowledge (R, Python).
- Advanced skills in MS Excel (macros, complex formulas).
- Experience with data extraction, visualization, and financial analytics in large-scale audit engagements.
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on experience with databases, ETL processes, and SQL.
- Knowledge of financial services sector processes and regulations.
- Ability to handle complex problems, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality audit insights.
