About the Role
As an Assistant Manager – Accounting & Reporting, you will analyze and monitor data from RBI’s Import Data Processing and Monitoring System (IDPMS) and Export Data Processing and Monitoring System (EDPMS) portals. You’ll play a critical role in identifying compliance gaps, reconciling data, and supporting reporting excellence.

Key Responsibilities
1. Compliance and Data Monitoring
- Extract, analyze, and validate data from RBI’s IDPMS and EDPMS portals.
- Identify and track compliance and non-compliance cases in import/export documentation.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of Bills of Entry (BoE) and Shipping Bills (SB) in line with RBI regulations.
2. Reporting and Documentation
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for management review.
- Maintain clear documentation and evidence trails for all compliance cases.
- Support audit and assurance teams with RBI-related data and reports.
3. Stakeholder Coordination
- Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Compliance teams to address discrepancies.
- Support the implementation of corrective actions for non-compliance issues.
- Provide process improvement recommendations to enhance compliance efficiency.
4. Risk and Governance
- Monitor the end-to-end regulatory reporting cycle for RBI transactions.
- Assist in designing controls and validation mechanisms for financial accuracy.
- Ensure timely closure of compliance actions as per RBI timelines.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of RBI’s IDPMS and EDPMS frameworks.
- Experience in Accounting & Financial Reporting, Audit, or Regulatory Compliance.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and data analysis tools.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data handling and documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or Economics.
- Professional certifications like CA / CMA / ACCA preferred.
- 4–8 years of experience in Accounting & Reporting, RBI compliance, or Audit & Assurance roles.
