Deloitte India is seeking a talented Assistant/Deputy Manager – End User Computing (EUC), VDI, and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) to join our Bengaluru office. Key Responsibilities
End User Computing & VDI Management
- Design, deploy, and manage VDI environments including VMware Horizon, Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops, and cloud PCs like AVD and AWS Workspaces.
- Optimize desktop and virtual environments for performance, security, and scalability.
Image Deployment & Endpoint Management
- Develop and maintain OS images, lifecycle management, and OS customization using Autopilot and SCCM/Intune.
- Oversee endpoint security, patch management, and compliance across Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Technical Leadership & Innovation
- Implement advanced EUC automation using Copilot and DevOps methodologies.
- Manage device hardware, updates, and testing, ensuring compatibility with organizational standards.
- Collaborate with IT operations and stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and IT service excellence.
Security & Compliance
- Apply best practices for endpoint security, vulnerability assessments, and OS patch management.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise policies and IT governance frameworks.
Required Skills
- Expertise in VDI platforms (VMware Horizon, Citrix) and cloud desktops (Azure Virtual Desktop, AWS Workspaces).
- Strong knowledge of endpoint management tools (SCCM, Intune, MDM).
- Hands-on experience in image deployment, OS management, and device provisioning.
- Solid understanding of desktop OS (Windows, Mac), networking, and cloud technologies.
- Experience in automation, Copilot, and DevOps practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-team coordination.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in EUC consulting, VDI, cloud PCs, and endpoint management.
- Relevant certifications preferred: Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, VMware Certified Professional, Citrix Certified Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced hybrid work environment.
