🛠 Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain Electrical Health, Safety & Environment (EHS) management systems in line with IMS and EHS manuals.
- Identify electrical safety training needs and design tailored programs for staff, visitors, subcontractors, and workmen.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with statutory electrical safety laws, including IE Rules.
- Conduct regular site electrical safety inspections and report findings with corrective actions.
- Review and improve electrical safety performance through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Organize awareness campaigns, safety competitions, and special emphasis programs focused on electrical hazard prevention.
- Oversee the performance of site electrical safety stewards ensuring adherence to safety standards.
- Coordinate risk assessment exercises and develop Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) for electrical activities.
- Lead incident investigations related to electrical hazards; analyze trends and implement corrective measures.
- Support the establishment and maintenance of emergency preparedness and response procedures specific to electrical safety.
- Prepare and communicate Single Line Diagrams (SLD) to raise electrical safety awareness.
- Verify the quality of Electrical Distribution Boards and electrical installations, ensuring compliance with IS Standards.
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly electrical safety reports to the Cluster Safety Manager (CSM).
🧠 Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of electrical safety management systems and electrical hazard controls.
- Knowledge of relevant legal regulations including Indian Electricity Rules (IE Rules).
- Experience in conducting risk assessments and safety inspections related to electrical systems.
- Ability to deliver effective safety training on electrical hazards and emergency response.
- Excellent communication, reporting, and incident investigation skills.
- Proficient in preparing technical diagrams such as Single Line Diagrams (SLD).

- Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (BEE) or equivalent.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in electrical safety management or a related field, preferably in power transmission or infrastructure projects.
