Key Responsibilities
- Manage direct taxation activities, including tax audits and compliance with tax laws.
- Organize and oversee working capital requirements such as Buyer Credit, PCFC, and Forward Cover.
- Coordinate fixed deposits, bank interactions, and manage secured and unsecured loan documentation.
- Verify TDS payments, ensure timely quarterly return filing, and issue TDS certificates to vendors promptly.
- Handle investment portfolios, including Mutual Funds (MF) and Fixed Deposits (FD), and manage currency hedging activities.
- Prepare, coordinate, and present revenue and capital budgets covering sales, order booking, costs, expenses, profits, Capex, and profitability.
- Establish recovery centers, calculate recovery rates, cost orders accurately, and evaluate the value of work-in-progress.
- Analyze and report financial performance metrics to management; forecast and recommend corrective actions to meet financial targets.
- Partner with business units to support decision-making by evaluating financial, legal, and statutory risks and opportunities.
- Mentor and train subordinate finance team members for enhanced exposure and growth.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the finance function and organizational goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Qualified Cost and Management Accountant (CMA).
- 5 to 10 years of professional experience in finance, accounts, and taxation.
- Strong understanding of direct taxation laws and tax audit processes.
- Proficient in managing working capital, investments, and bank liaison.
- Expertise in budgeting, financial forecasting, and profitability analysis.
- Experience with TDS verification, payment processes, and compliance reporting.
