Key Responsibilities
Financial Due Diligence & Deal Analysis
- Conduct end-to-end financial due diligence for domestic M&A transactions
- Analyze historical and projected financial performance
- Interpret financial trends and identify key deal issues or anomalies
- Assess working capital, net debt, and quality of earnings
Client Engagement & Reporting
- Liaise directly with clients, targets, and third parties
- Prepare high-quality deliverables, including Excel models and PowerPoint reports
- Present findings to stakeholders and contribute to strategic decision-making
Project Management
- Manage timelines and deliverables for multiple ongoing deals
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external advisors
- Support proposal writing and business development efforts
Thought Leadership & Team Collaboration
- Mentor junior team members and share technical knowledge
- Contribute to internal training and knowledge-sharing sessions
- Promote Deloitte’s brand through client interactions and industry presence
Required Skills & Qualifications
- CA (qualified in 1st or 2nd attempt preferred)
- 2–4 years of post-qualification experience in financial due diligence, M&A, or audit
- Strong understanding of Indian GAAP; knowledge of IFRS is a plus
- Proficient in MS Excel for data modeling and analysis
- Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and business acumen
