Key Responsibilities
- Drive corporate acquisition for employee salary account onboarding
- Present HSBC’s Employee Banking Proposition to key decision-makers (KDMs)
- Build strong relationships with KDMs and influencers in targeted corporates
- Collaborate with Corporate Banking and Global Banking teams
- Organize marketing events, roadshows, and networking meets for lead generation
- Ensure the quality of corporate clients aligns with internal guidelines
- Maximize client satisfaction through seamless onboarding and support
- Maintain compliance with internal control standards and audit recommendations
- Identify and convert cross-selling opportunities through deep relationship engagement

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement experience
- Ability to influence senior decision-makers and close high-value deals
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and planning abilities
- Expertise in project management and navigating internal systems
- Understanding of risk management, credit policies, and regulatory frameworks
- Proficiency in leveraging social media to connect with startup founders and KDMs
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Prior experience as a Business Development Manager (BDM) in banking or fintech
- Demonstrated success in corporate acquisition, especially in startup ecosystems
- Ability to provide actionable feedback to Product and Marketing teams
- Experience in creating and executing engagement models for deeper market penetration
- Comfortable engaging with incubators, accelerators, and corporate leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (Graduate in any discipline)
- 2–3 years’ experience in business development, corporate sales, or account acquisition
- Completion of HSBC’s Anti-Money Laundering and Sanctions certification (mandatory upon joining)
