Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical authority and mentor, guiding the EP developer community in adopting best practices.
• Lead and grow communities of practice, organizing workshops, forums, and events to foster engagement and knowledge sharing.
• Partner with central teams to enhance and standardize firm-wide developer tools and platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HR, IT, Product) to understand developer needs and implement scalable solutions.
• Lead change management initiatives to ensure successful adoption of new technologies and processes.
• Establish and maintain high standards for software quality, scalability, and efficiency.
• Develop coding standards, guidelines, and technical documentation to support developers.
• Champion automation, continuous delivery, and modern engineering practices to accelerate development cycles.
• Drive adoption of AI assistants/agents and emerging technologies to enhance productivity.
• Stay updated with industry trends, evaluating and advocating for new tools and methodologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of applied experience in software engineering and application development.
• Hands-on experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in large-scale environments using Java, Python, and database querying languages.
• Deep understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security best practices.
• Experience with AI-powered assistive development tools and developer productivity technologies.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Strategic thinking with the ability to execute tactically and drive innovation and continuous improvement.
• Experience in developer community building and engagement.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control systems like Git.
• Experience organizing and leading developer events, workshops, and technical forums.
• Practical experience with cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure).
• Strong background in mentorship and team growth initiatives within software engineering teams.
