Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack software solutions in Java, Groovy, or Python.
• Implement and manage cloud-based solutions on AWS, including EC2, S3, Lambda, MSK, ECS, EKS, and related services.
• Develop UI components using React, Angular, or JavaScript frameworks.
• Build microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven architectures (EDA) following best practices and design patterns.
• Troubleshoot, review, and debug code, ensuring high-quality production software.
• Automate recurring tasks, reduce operational toil, and improve system stability.
• Use monitoring tools like Cloud Watch, Dynatrace, Splunk, and OpenTelemetry to enhance system observability and reliability.
• Lead evaluation sessions with internal and external stakeholders to ensure architectural alignment and solution scalability.
• Mentor junior engineers, sharing knowledge and fostering team growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, integrating security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 7+ years of full-stack development experience, including Java, Groovy, and/or Python.
• 5+ years of UI development experience using JavaScript frameworks (React or Angular).
• Hands-on experience with Java frameworks such as Spring Boot, Microservices, REST API, JPA, JUnit, and design patterns.
• Strong experience in SQL (Oracle) query writing and database management.
• Expertise in AWS cloud services and infrastructure, including EC2, S3, Lambda, MSK, ELB, ECS, and EKS.
• Familiarity with development tools: IntelliJ, Eclipse, SOAP UI, Postman.
• Experience with source code management (Git, Maven, CI/CD pipelines).
• Knowledge of cloud-based platforms such as Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes, or Google Cloud.
• Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and eagerness to learn emerging technologies.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools: Splunk, Dynatrace, Cloud Watch, OpenTelemetry.
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools: JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket.
• Understanding of Kafka, OAuth/OpenID, Windows ADFS, and cloud architecture best practices.
• Exposure to chaos engineering, fault injection, and FMEA principles.
• Knowledge of data usage patterns, event-driven architecture (EDA), and microservices in a cloud environment.
