Key Responsibilities

As a Lead Infrastructure Software Engineer, you will:

• Design, develop, and implement innovative software and infrastructure solutions to improve system performance and scalability.
• Deliver secure, high-quality production code while mentoring peers and conducting rigorous code reviews.
• Drive automation to eliminate recurring operational issues and enhance reliability.
• Lead vendor evaluations, assessing architecture, scalability, and technology fit for integration.
• Serve as the technical lead during major incidents, resolving critical system issues with minimal business impact.
• Ensure performance testing, deployment validation, and documentation are completed prior to production release.
• Build, guide, and contribute to communities of practice to share best practices in emerging tech and infrastructure management.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities & Skills

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering or infrastructure management.
• Strong expertise in cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java/Spring Boot.
• Advanced understanding of observability, monitoring, and telemetry tools — including Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, Dynatrace, Splunk, and others.
• Proficient with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Terraform.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Docker, ECS).
• Strong troubleshooting skills for networking and distributed systems.
• Proven ability to evaluate, learn, and apply new technologies to solve business challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in financial services or large-scale enterprise systems.
• AWS Certifications or equivalent cloud credentials.
• Leadership experience in DevOps transformation or infrastructure modernization projects.
