Key Responsibilities

Software Asset Lifecycle Management

• Manage the full lifecycle of software assets, from procurement to retirement.
• Ensure efficient asset utilization and compliance with licensing agreements.

License Compliance & Risk Mitigation

• Conduct software license audits and compliance assessments.
• Mitigate risks associated with vendor licensing and IT asset management.

Optimization & Cost Reduction

• Analyze software usage data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Recommend optimization strategies for software license and cloud usage.

SAM Tool Implementation

• Assist in deploying and configuring SAM tools (Flexera, Snow, ServiceNow).
• Automate tracking, reporting, and compliance processes.

Reporting & Analytics

• Develop reports on software usage, compliance status, and optimization opportunities.
• Provide data-driven insights for executive decision-making.

Client Engagement & Advisory

• Act as a trusted advisor on software licensing strategies and cloud adoption.
• Provide best practices and recommendations for enterprise SAM programs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years in Software Asset Management, Licensing Compliance, or IT Asset Management.
• Strong knowledge of major software licensing models (Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, SAP).
• Hands-on experience with SAM tools such as Flexera, Snow, ServiceNow, or equivalents.
• Proven ability to conduct license audits, compliance assessments, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Excellent communication, client management, and presentation skills.
• Analytical skills with the ability to interpret software usage data for actionable recommendations.
• Familiarity with cloud licensing models (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
• Relevant certifications: CSAM, ITIL, Microsoft Certified SAM, or vendor-specific certifications preferred.
