Key Responsibilities

As an Assistant Manager – Cloud Security, you will:

Cloud Security & Risk Management

  • Conduct threat-based risk assessments and business impact analyses for multi-cloud environments.
  • Perform cloud infrastructure security assessments following industry best practices.
  • Evaluate cloud architecture and configurations for security vulnerabilities.
  • Ensure cloud controls compliance with business requirements, policies, and standards.

Governance, Compliance & Reporting

  • Align assessments with ISO/IEC 27001, NIST, CSA CCM, and CIS Benchmarks.
  • Prepare detailed cloud infrastructure risk assessment reports.
  • Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies for cloud security posture improvement.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with IT, business, and leadership teams to scope, execute, and document risk assessments.
  • Lead client interactions and presentations, ensuring clarity and transparency throughout engagements.

Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to the development of cloud security frameworks and policies.
  • Provide training and awareness sessions on cloud security best practices.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in Deloitte’s cybersecurity methodologies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (B.Tech/B.E.).
  • 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in Cloud Security Consulting or Cyber Risk Assessment.
  • Proven expertise with AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of Zero Trust architecture, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and data protection controls.
  • Familiarity with SIEM, IDS/IPS, WAF, encryption, Kubernetes, and container security.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills & Certifications

  • Cloud security certifications: CCSK, CCSP, AWS Certified Security, Azure Security Engineer, GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer.
  • Knowledge of Risk Management Lifecycle (Identification, Assessment, Response, Reporting).
  • Experience in developing and enforcing security policies and procedures.
  • Strong understanding of compliance frameworks and cloud governance.
