Key Responsibilities
- Execute small to medium-scale projects independently and progressively deliver larger initiatives.
- Write high-quality, maintainable, and robust code to solve business problems using software engineering best practices.
- Participate in incident triaging, diagnosis, and resolution while collaborating to address root causes.
- Identify and eliminate toil through automation, system engineering, or code updates.
- Implement and optimize observability patterns including service-level indicators, objectives, monitoring, and alerting solutions.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain cloud-based infrastructure and ensure operational reliability.
- Continuously learn and apply new technologies, tools, and processes to improve team effectiveness.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 2+ years of applied experience in software engineering with formal training or certification.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language and experience with cloud-based infrastructure.
- Understanding of site reliability concepts, observability, and monitoring tools such as Grafana, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Datadog, Splunk.
- Familiarity with containers, Linux/Windows operating systems, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Terraform.
- Emerging knowledge of networking technologies and technical processes in relevant disciplines (e.g., Cloud, AI, Android).
- Ability to prioritize work, adapt to changing responsibilities, and communicate effectively in a collaborative environment.
