Key Responsibilities
As a Lead Software Engineer – Java Full Stack, you will:
- Design, develop, and implement high-performance full-stack software solutions using Java and Angular.
- Build secure, reliable, and scalable production code following best engineering practices.
- Debug, review, and optimize code developed by team members for performance and security.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs (Open API standards) to ensure seamless system integration.
- Identify opportunities to automate recurring issues and enhance software stability.
- Lead and mentor team members, encouraging best practices in code quality and architecture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and evaluate third-party tools and vendors for solution integration.
- Foster a team culture of innovation, inclusion, and technical excellence.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities & Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on software development experience in Java 11+ and Angular 13+.
- Strong background in object-oriented design, design patterns, and software architecture.
- Deep knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies (CI/CD, DevOps).
- Proven ability to deliver robust applications across frontend and backend components.
- Strong experience working with REST APIs and Open API frameworks.
- Proficiency in cloud-native development, automation, and continuous delivery tools.
- Strong understanding of application resiliency, security standards, and performance optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills with a focus on operational stability.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Familiarity with AI/ML or data-driven application development.
- Knowledge of financial services technology systems is a plus.
