Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and structure raw data to support analytics and reporting processes.
- Develop data pipelines and data flows to integrate data from multiple sources.
- Perform data exploration, identify emerging trends, and provide actionable insights.
- Combine information from multiple sources to build comprehensive datasets for reporting.
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and paginated reports tailored to business requirements.
- Implement advanced visualizations and interactive reports to enhance decision-making capabilities.
- Collaborate with business teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical BI solutions.
- Ensure data governance, quality, and best practices across reporting solutions.
- Mentor and guide junior BI developers and analysts on best practices and standards.
Skills & Attributes
- Expertise in Power BI development, SQL, DAX, and Power Query for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data integration.
- Familiarity with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Platform is a plus.
- Knowledge of Azure services and cloud-based analytics solutions.
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder collaboration.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Technology, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in Power BI development or business intelligence roles.
- Proven experience in data modeling, dashboard development, and advanced reporting.
- Experience with data governance, analytics frameworks, and BI best practices.
- Prior experience in mentoring or managing a team is preferred.
