Key Responsibilities

As a Finance Consulting Manager – FP&A at EY Bengaluru, your responsibilities will include:

• Driving Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) processes including budgeting, forecasting, cost allocation, and controllership.
• Leading BPRA (Business Planning, Reporting & Analytics) projects and EPM tool implementations.
• Designing, configuring, and implementing BPRA processes across industries.
• Building financial models, dashboards, and forecasts to track KPIs and support executive decision-making.
• Conducting process re-design & optimization (AS-IS & TO-BE models) using BPM tools.
• Supporting clients in strategic finance transformation initiatives.
• Delivering management reporting and performance dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, OneStream, and other EPM solutions.
• Collaborating with global finance teams, CXOs, and client stakeholders to drive business impact.
• Mentoring junior consultants and managing finance project teams.
• Providing insights into capital allocation, Opex/Capex planning, balance sheet management, and IFRS-based reporting.

Skills and Attributes for Success

• Strong knowledge of FP&A, BPRA, financial consolidation, and cost allocation.
• Expertise in EPM tools: Anaplan, Tagetik, Oracle PBCS/EPBCS, OneStream, Hyperion, Tableau, Power BI.
• Solid understanding of ERP systems: SAP ERP/HANA, Oracle GL.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills for modeling and reporting.
• Strong consulting experience with the ability to lead client workshops and finance transformation projects.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for engaging CXO-level stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, prioritize effectively, and adapt to fast-changing business needs.
• Exposure to GBS/SSC setup, process optimization, IFRS reporting, and project management is a plus.

Qualifications

• Professional degree: CA, CPA, CFA, or MBA (Finance).
• Experience: 10–15 years in FP&A, BPRA, and Finance Consulting.
• Proven track record in finance transformation, financial modeling, and performance management.
• Experience working with global clients and diverse industries.
