Key Responsibilities
- Lead QA strategy and provide subject matter expertise for mobile applications across multiple projects.
- Develop and execute test plans, test schedules, and detailed test cases in line with DIGITAL Project Lifecycle standards.
- Participate in cross-functional discussions to assess the impact of application changes on internal and external interfaces.
- Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements, reducing test cycles and automating test scripts.
- Coordinate testing timelines, deliverables, and communication across global teams.
- Review business and technical requirements, design documents, and software changes to ensure testing accuracy.
- Conduct root cause analysis of defects and recommend QA process improvements.
- Sponsor initiatives for continuous QA process improvement and integration with development activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of applied experience in software engineering or QA, with formal training or certification.
- Strong experience in mobile native applications, mobile test automation, and SDLC concepts.
- Expertise in functional, integration, and regression testing.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Experience in client-server environments and effective test design approaches.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.
- Hands-on experience in mobile browser testing on iOS and Android using devices and simulators.
- Experience with automation frameworks: Appium, Selenium, Cucumber, Java.
- Skilled in test script design in Gherkin format.
- Experience with HP ALM, Atlassian Confluence, JIRA, and commercial mobile test management packages (e.g., Sage).
