Key Responsibilities
- Lead and collaborate with development teams to enhance the developer experience, providing cloud infrastructure, tools, and CI/CD support.
- Design, develop, and deliver secure, high-quality production code across cloud-native applications.
- Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications, ensuring compliance with design constraints.
- Analyze and visualize large, diverse datasets to drive continuous improvement of software applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems, identifying patterns and hidden issues proactively.
- Mentor and contribute to software engineering communities of practice, sharing expertise and best practices.
- Promote a diverse, inclusive, and collaborative team culture.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Formal training or certification in software engineering with 5+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Proficiency in modern programming languages (Python or equivalent) and database querying languages.
- Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with Public Cloud services (AWS preferred) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar).
- Ability to independently solve complex design and functionality problems.
- Proven experience with CI/CD architecture, migrations, and automation strategies.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with modern front-end or back-end technologies.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions, Artifactory, Terraform Cloud, Slack, Grafana, SonarQube.
- Strong coding proficiency in one or more programming languages.
- Exposure to cloud-native microservices design and implementation.
