Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate quarterly business results and financial data collection with lines of business, Regulatory Controllers, and reporting teams.
- Assess financial issues and communicate key findings to stakeholders, flagging potential risks.
- Escalate complex issues to management and apply up-to-date product, market, and industry knowledge.
- Consolidate, review, and analyze quarterly financial data, performing variance analysis.
- Participate in production, review, and filing of monthly, quarterly, and annual regulatory reports (FFIEC, FDIC) for domestic and international portfolios.
- Ensure accurate reconciliations and adherence to proof & control procedures to maintain financial integrity.
- Collaborate with technology and project teams to design and implement process improvements.
- Work in an Agile environment, supporting operations through onboarding strategic deliverables.
- Communicate and present financial insights to stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Develop knowledge of the technical architecture and reporting infrastructure to optimize workflow.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- CA or MBA in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in finance, accounting, or regulatory reporting.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- Proven track record of large-scale problem solving.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Exposure to project management practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to present complex information concisely.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and able to perform effectively under pressure.
Preferred Skills
- Ability to develop clear conclusions and present them effectively.
- Knowledge of Product Control, Financial Control, or regulatory reporting is a plus.
- Not a people management role; ideal for individual contributors with a focus on process excellence.
