Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with line of business controllers, middle office, and operations teams.
- Analyze and interpret monthly profit and loss statements.
- Manage monthly consolidation of JPMorgan Chase income statements and balance sheets.
- Control post-closing entries and consolidation adjustments.
- Execute control procedures to ensure the accuracy of financial results.
- Support production of the monthly financial Flash Report.
- Handle ad-hoc financial requests from various business units.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an analytical or financial control role within banking products.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and general desktop/database tools.
- Ability to analyze complex systems and general ledger interdependencies.
- Basic understanding of financial products and accounting principles.
- Critical thinking to identify and address control issues.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Tableau and Alteryx for data visualization and automation.
- Bachelor’s degree required; CFA, CMA, CA, or MBA (Finance) preferred.
- Flexibility to work in EMEA shifts.
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.
