Key Responsibilities
- Network Automation Development: Design, develop, and deploy automation solutions for network devices and infrastructure using Python, Ansible, and open SDKs.
- Integration & API Management: Build integration components and leverage APIs for vendor product solutions at scale.
- Full-Stack Development: Apply expertise in Python and React to deliver robust automation tools and dashboards.
- Software Engineering Practices: Implement testing, architecture design, and system-level enhancements for network automation products.
- Data Management & Optimization: Structure data flows, optimize queries, and create scripts for JSON/XML data transfers.
- Tooling & Process Improvement: Develop, enhance, and maintain tools to accelerate infrastructure deployments across diverse devices and vendors.
- Vendor Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee design, implementation, testing, and production deployment of third-party network products.
- Customer & Team Support: Provide documentation, training, and onboarding support for engineering teams and end-users.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering and network automation.
- Proficiency in Python, React, Ansible, and similar programming languages.
- Experience with routers, switches, firewalls, proxy devices, and network infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, ServiceNow, Linux administration, cloud platforms.
- Expertise in Red Hat’s Ansible Automation Platform (AAP).
- Ability to build interactive dashboards using Grafana, Dynatrace, and Splunk.
- Experience with FastAPI, Flask, and integrating third-party SDKs/APIs.
- Capability to operate effectively in a global, multi-time-zone environment.
