Responsibilities
As an Executive – FAAS (Financial & Accounting Advisory) at EY Mumbai, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and executing FAAS projects and developing tailored financial solutions.
- Identifying and pursuing business development opportunities while managing client accounts.
- Simplifying and communicating complex accounting and financial reporting issues.
- Advising clients on transactions (acquisitions, carve-outs, demergers, restructuring).
- Supporting IPO readiness, including compliance with Indian, UK, and US listing rules.
- Handling complex consolidations in multinational corporations (MNCs) and ERP/consolidation systems.
- Providing advisory on tax planning and complex financial structures.
- Delivering technical training on advanced accounting and reporting topics.
- Specializing in financial reporting areas such as:
- Revenue recognition
- Financial instruments
- Off-balance sheet financing
- Consolidation & SPEs
- Banking and insurance
Skills & Attributes
EY is looking for professionals who demonstrate:
- Strong technical knowledge of IGAAP, IFRS, and US GAAP.

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A CA/CPA/ICAEW/ACCA qualification (or equivalent).

- 1–3 years of relevant post-qualification experience in audit, advisory, transaction, or MNC finance/M&A roles.
- Hands-on expertise in financial reporting under IGAAP, IFRS, or US GAAP.
