Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end transaction execution in financial services.
- Identify opportunities for new projects, deals, and products across banking, NBFCs, insurance, asset management, fintech, and related sectors.
- Prepare sector coverage reports, financial analyses, valuations, and thought leadership content.
- Guide teams to deliver high-quality client deliverables and ensure timely project closures.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships while exceeding expectations.
- Mentor junior team members and build a high-performing corporate finance team.
Required Skills
- Technical Skills: Financial modeling, valuation analysis, transaction advisory, report writing, and data manipulation using MS Excel.
- Commercial Awareness: Understanding of financial services sector metrics, transactions, and market trends.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to manage complex data and derive actionable insights.
- Leadership & Communication: Team mentoring, stakeholder management, effective written and verbal communication.
- Soft Skills: Multitasking, attention to detail, high commitment, proactive problem solving, and adaptability.
Qualifications
- CA qualified / MBA (CFA and premier university graduates preferred).
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, equity research, or private equity.
- Strong understanding of transaction documentation and negotiation points.
- High proficiency in MS Excel, financial modeling, and reporting tools.
- Candidates from premier investment banks or Big 4 firms preferred.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Willingness to travel frequently to client locations.
