Summary

WTW (Willis Towers Watson) is hiring an experienced Business Analyst to join its Mumbai and Thane offices. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in business intelligence, corporate reporting, and systems analysis within the professional services or insurance industries.

As a Business Analyst at WTW, you will work closely with key stakeholders across Finance, Accounting, Treasury, Tax, and other business functions to gather requirements, design reporting solutions, and support the development and deployment of advanced BI tools including Power BI, Qlik Sense, OAC, Hyperion, and other bespoke systems.

This position offers the opportunity to drive business process improvements, implement automated reporting solutions, and play a critical role in supporting WTW’s Management Information Reporting Systems (MIRS) environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Analysis: Engage with stakeholders in Finance, Accounting, Treasury, Tax, and other departments to gather and document business requirements.
• Reporting & Functional Design: Produce accurate reporting and software functional designs following agreed standards.
• Change Management: Ensure requirements for system changes and enhancements are defined, approved, and tested before production deployment.
• Testing & Validation: Create and execute test plans and scripts to validate developed objects and ensure quality delivery.
• Software Delivery: Support new software rollouts including user acceptance testing, training, and communication.
• Support & Documentation: Handle support queries and maintain documentation to reduce recurring tickets.
• Progress Reporting: Provide regular verbal and written updates on project and support tasks.
• Data Reconciliation: Perform reconciliation at the data level as required.
• Flexibility: Adapt to evolving project timelines and team needs.

Required Qualifications

• Industry Experience: 9+ years in Professional Services or Insurance with exposure to reporting requirements.
• Business & Systems Analysis: Proven experience analyzing and documenting complex business processes.
• Business Intelligence Solutions: Experience delivering solutions using Power BI, Qlik Sense, OAC, Hyperion.
• Systems Development: Familiarity with software development life cycle processes.
• Technical Proficiency: Basic SQL/PLSQL skills; familiarity with automated testing scripts, chatbots, or advanced analytics (AI, predictive modeling, clustering) is a plus.
• Finance Knowledge: Working understanding of Finance, Accounting, Treasury, and Tax functions; HR/Marketing knowledge is a plus.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work independently.
• Communication & Professionalism: Strong interpersonal skills and professional presence.
• Attention to Detail: High accuracy and detail orientation, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Confidentiality: Maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
