Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Reconciliation

  • Collaborate with developers, quantitative analysts, and modelers to reconcile complex datasets from multiple sources.
  • Analyze loan servicing data to identify reconciliation issues, including payment timing, failures, and loan status changes.
  • Write queries or code to automate data reconciliation processes.

Valuation Support & Reporting

  • Prepare technical reports highlighting reconciliation issues and their impact on valuation.
  • Communicate with clients to request updated or corrected data when required.
  • Support valuation projects by providing accurate and timely data insights.

Process Improvement & Automation

  • Develop and implement scalable analytic tools to enhance efficiency and reliability.
  • Collaborate on the automation of financial modeling and analytics workflows.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Minimum 2+ years of professional experience in financial industry; fewer years considered for advanced degrees.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, with hands-on experience handling large datasets.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Experience with Excel financial modeling, and statistical modeling tools such as Python (Pandas) or R.
  • Comfortable analyzing data in various formats and automating analytical processes.
