Summary
Kroll is seeking a SOC Manager – Client Engagement in Bangalore, India to lead a dedicated team within our 16×7 Security Operations Center (SOC). This role is responsible for managing day-to-day security operations, ensuring incident response and SLA compliance, and acting as the primary operational contact for client-facing engagements. The ideal candidate has 6–10 years of cybersecurity experience, with proven expertise in SOC leadership, SIEM platforms, and threat intelligence management. This position offers the opportunity to oversee a high-performance team, mentor analysts, and drive excellence in security monitoring for global clients.

Key Responsibilities
SOC Operations Management
- Lead and coordinate a team of 3–5 analysts to ensure effective triage, investigation, and resolution of security incidents.
- Oversee incident workflows, escalation procedures, and SLA compliance.
- Maintain high operational standards in line with client-specific SOPs, playbooks, and shift handovers.
Client Engagement
- Act as the primary operational contact for the client.
- Participate in governance calls, incident reviews, and reporting sessions.
- Provide timely and accurate updates on security posture, incidents, and metrics.
Process & Reporting
- Maintain and enhance client SOPs, response playbooks, and escalation protocols.
- Deliver daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports, SLA dashboards, and executive summaries.
- Collaborate with global and local teams to ensure process improvement and operational efficiency.
Team Development
- Mentor SOC staff, conduct performance reviews, and support hiring and onboarding of new analysts.
- Drive a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and high performance within the SOC team.
Skills & Qualifications
- 6–10 years of experience in cybersecurity operations, including 2+ years in SOC leadership.
- Strong knowledge of SIEM (Microsoft Sentinel), SOAR, EDR, and threat intelligence platforms.
- Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, NIST CSF, ISO 27001 frameworks.
- Proven experience in client-facing SOC engagements, meeting SLA targets.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
Preferred Certifications
- CISSP, CISM, GIAC certifications.
- ITIL Foundation for service management alignment.
Working Hours
- Rotational shifts within a 16×7 schedule.
- Flexibility to support escalations or critical incidents outside standard hours.
